Buyer Service Fee on Bookings
Plenty of service marketplaces earn the way the big platforms do: the provider keeps their full price and the customer pays a small fee on top. Until now the buyer service fee only applied to product orders, so a cleaning or coaching marketplace had to take its cut out of the provider's price instead.
Tick Also charge the fee on bookings next to the buyer service fee under Payments, and calendar bookings carry the fee too. The customer sees it as its own line when they request the slot, in the approval email and on the payment page, and the fee they saw at request time is the fee they pay. The seller is paid exactly as before.

Stripe's actual fee
The fee is charged on the price the customer actually pays, after a coupon or package discount, and once on a package paid in one go. Pay-in-person and free bookings have no fee. Refunds return it in the same proportion as the price, and the seller's refund dialog now refunds price and fee together. Sellers never see the fee. The Bookings tab also got a per-booking money breakdown (seller payout, commission, buyer fee, Stripe's actual card fee and what you keep) and a Your income tile, on every store with bookings. Hourly Pricing: One Rate, the Customer Picks the Hours
Cleaning, gardening, moving, handyman work and tutoring are sold by the hour. The provider has one rate and the customer decides how long. Until now a seller had to add a price option for every number of hours to get close to that.
On listing types that book from the seller's hours, switch on Hourly pricing and set the hours a customer may book (minimum, maximum, whole or half hours). The seller enters an hourly rate as the listing price, the customer picks the hours on the listing page, and the total updates as they change it.
Seller works 8:00 to 17:00, customer books 3.5 hours

$35.00/hr
Start times where 3.5 hours fit, Tue Oct 27
The booking blocks exactly those hours of the seller's calendar, and only start times where the whole job fits inside that day's working hours are offered. Price options become named rates per hour (Standard 25/h, Deep clean 35/h), add-ons stay a flat amount per booking, and block bookings and percentage discounts work as before. Emails, receipts and booking pages show the hours booked and the rate. A booking fits inside one day, so longer jobs are booked as separate days. Hourly pricing docs
Orders Marked as Shipped at the Carrier's First Scan
Sellers hand a parcel in and forget to click Mark as shipped. The buyer gets no shipped email, the order looks stuck, and a payout held for delivery confirmation never starts counting.
With Shipmondo, Prometora now checks the carrier's tracking every few hours for labels booked through your store that aren't marked shipped yet. The first scan the carrier registers (for a dao code, the moment the dao shop takes the parcel) marks that seller's items as shipped, exactly as if they had clicked the button.

Shipped email to the buyer, payout follows your rules
The buyer gets the shipped email with the tracking number, and the seller's payout follows your After the sale rules, counted from the scan. Sellers can still click Mark as shipped themselves, a label you hold above your order value limit isn't watched until you release it, and a cancelled label never marks anything shipped. It's on for every Shipmondo store (Shipmondo's package monitoring is included from its Essentials plan) and can be switched off under Shipping → After the sale. Business and above. Shipping docs
More Improvements
Other things shipped this week.
- One navigation or footer link can show several listing types together, for example a “Classes” link with private lessons and group classes. Click Combine in the link picker and tick the types. The Featured listings section can show several types too. Listing types docs
- ShipStation: an "Insure labels with ParcelGuard" switch (insured for the item value, off by default), every label now carries the order number and items, and the Orders tab shows the label cost
- The owner's order breakdown shows the shipping your store keeps, and what's left of it after the label cost
- Listing filters with the same internal field name on several listing types show as one filter with the options combined, and renaming an internal name moves the listings' values to the new name
- The Hero with search section has a "Browse all listings" button you can switch on
- The listing URL on the listing form is folded to one line with an Edit link, so new sellers aren't puzzled by it
- The listing-type switcher in Product Listings stays in view while you scroll, on phones too
- A sidebar filter with a value picked can be collapsed, and shows the picked value next to its name
- The custom domain card is calmer once your domain is connected, and the Cloudflare tips are easier to read

- Adding a second item from the same seller to the cart no longer merges it into the first
- Mark as shipped picks up the tracking number from the seller's booked label
- Custom fields left empty no longer show their label on the listing page
- The buy-box shipping line shows per-listing shipping prices
- The buyer-fee threshold on the Payments tab keeps its value when you reload the page
- Moving to the next page of listings starts at the top
- The trial-end reminder email quotes the price on your subscription
