Rescheduling
Plans change. Sellers can move a booking whenever they need to, and you can let customers ask for a new time without opening the door to last-minute chaos.

Sellers moving a booking
In Manage Bookings, every pending or confirmed booking on a time slot has a Reschedule button. It opens the listing's upcoming days and shows which slots still have room, with full slots struck through and the current slot disabled. The seller picks a new time, adds an optional note, and the customer is emailed with the new time and the old one struck through. The booking shows “Moved from” on both dashboards afterwards.
- No deadline applies to sellers. This is what makes genuine last-minute changes possible.
- Capacity is re-checked, so a booking can never be moved into a slot that has filled up.
- The price stays the same even if the new slot is priced differently.
- You, as the marketplace owner, can reschedule on a seller's behalf the same way.
Letting customers ask for a new time
Off by default. Turn it on and customers get a Request a new time button on their bookings, where they pick another open slot on the same listing. The booking does not move: the seller sees the request in Manage Bookings and approves or declines it, and the customer is emailed either way. Payment is never touched.

Waiting for approval. Your booking keeps its current time until then.
Withdraw requestPick the zone first; the toggle stays disabled until you do. Inside the deadline the button is replaced by a line pointing to messages.
- Deadline: how many hours before the session a customer may still ask. Closer than that, the button is replaced by a line telling them to message instead.
- Sellers are not limited by the deadline. They can move a booking at any time, which is what makes last-minute changes possible.
- The requested slot is not held. If it fills up before the seller approves, the approval is refused and they can decline or pick another time.
- A time zone is required before the toggle can be switched on, because the deadline is measured against the session's start time.
- What customers see: a Request a new time button on each eligible booking, a waiting note with Withdraw request while it is open, and a line pointing them to messaging once they are inside the deadline. If the booking still needs paying, a note under the Pay button explains that payment covers the current time and approval does not change it.
- Emails: the seller is told when a request arrives and when a customer withdraws one; the customer is told when it is approved or declined. All of them are editable in Email Translations.
What happens to a request
Customer asks for a new time
The booking keeps its original time. The seller is emailed.
Seller approves
The booking moves to the new time. The customer is emailed.
Seller declines
The booking stays where it was. The customer is emailed, with the seller's note.
Customer withdraws
Nothing moves. The seller is emailed, so the earlier email does not leave them waiting.
Payment is never touched on any path. If the requested slot filled up meanwhile, approval is refused and the request stays open.
Turning it on
- Open Store Settings → Booking.
- Set Time zone your sessions take place in. The reschedule toggle stays disabled until you do.
- Switch on Let customers request a new time.
- Choose the deadline in hours. If you already have a cancellation policy, matching the two avoids confusing customers.
