Translation Key Mode: Find Any String's Key Straight From Your Storefront
Text & Translations lets you rewrite any of the 1,600+ buyer- and seller-facing strings in your marketplace. The hard part was never the editing - it was finding the right row. Search for “Save” and you get dozens of matches; which one is the button you're actually looking at? That guessing game is gone.
Click Find keys on your store at the top of the panel and your storefront opens in key mode: every translatable text is replaced by its key, like ⟦product.addToCart⟧. Browse to the page with the string you want, Alt-click it (Option-click on Mac), and the key is on your clipboard - paste it into the panel's search and you're editing the exact string. Works for attribute text too, like placeholders and tooltips.

Edit any text your buyers or sellers see, in any language.

Key mode is tied to your browser session. Visitors, buyers and sellers keep seeing the normal storefront the whole time.
Alt-click on the storefront, or click the key badge on any row in the panel. Either way the key lands on your clipboard.
Exit from the yellow bar or the panel banner - or just leave it; key mode turns itself off after 30 minutes.
Available on Business and above in Store Settings → Text & Translations. If your store runs on a custom domain, key mode opens on the store's prometora.com address; the custom domain keeps showing the normal store. Translations docs
Shipmondo Labels: Per-Weight-Class Pricing
Carriers price by weight band, and until now every Shipmondo label was booked at one default parcel weight and billed at one flat price. You can now define weight classes in the Shipmondo card - a name, the weight the label should be booked at, and the price per label - and sellers pick the parcel's class right in the label box before creating a label.
The label is booked with Shipmondo at that class's weight, and with Bill labels to sellers on, the seller's next subscription invoice gets that class's price instead of the flat label price. The class matching your default parcel weight is preselected, so the common case is still one click. Prices are resolved server-side at label time, so editing the table never bills a stale price. Leave the table empty and nothing changes.
Weight classes (optional)
When configured, sellers pick the parcel's weight class before creating a label.
| Name | Booked weight | Price / label |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 1 kg | 1.0 kg | 39 kr |
| 1-5 kg | 5.0 kg | 49 kr |
| 5-10 kg | 10.0 kg | 79 kr |
Parcel weight
Booked at 5 kg. 49 kr is added to your next invoice.
Shipmondo only for now (Canada Post and ShipStation labels are unchanged). Configure it in Store Settings → Shipping. Shipping docs
More Improvements
Other things shipped this week.
- Connect your own AI to the Prometora docs. The documentation is now available as an MCP server plus
llms.txt, so Claude, Cursor, VS Code or ChatGPT can search and read it directly - ask your own assistant how a Prometora setting works and it answers from the current docs. Every docs page also got a Copy as Markdown button. Setup guide - The Bookings tab in store settings now shows a Commission Earned card - your platform fee across paid bookings, net of refunds, next to the booking counts
- The Shipping settings page got a sticky save bar, so the Save button (and any validation message) stays in view while you scroll through the provider cards
- Stats section: the values and labels are now individually editable and styleable in the visual editor, the same way the section title already was
- The seller plan picker shows a translated, human-readable subscription status instead of the raw internal value
Bug Fixes
Bug fixes shipped this week.
- The Sellers section on the storefront now hides sellers that were deleted in Seller Management
- Adding or duplicating a page in the visual editor now keeps all your existing pages in the editor's draft view as expected
- Re-saving VAT settings on the Subscriptions tab after a Stripe account change now creates a fresh tax rate, so seller checkout keeps working
- Switching between seller subscription plans is smoother: upgrades apply right away with a prorated amount, downgrades take effect at the end of the current period
