Yes. Every plan includes a sandbox, from the first day of your trial: a private copy of your live marketplace's settings with no real users, listings or orders. It only accepts Stripe test keys, its emails only reach you and your team, and every feature is enabled inside it whatever your plan, so you can try a Business feature before upgrading.

Reset it from live or delete it whenever you like. Before launch you can also test on your trial marketplace directly, since it is live from day one and unseen until you share the address.

How the sandbox works

Transaction fees are a small percentage we charge on sales processed through your marketplace:

• Professional: 1.5% per transaction
• Business: 1% per transaction
• Enterprise: Custom (negotiable)

The fee is calculated on the item amount of each sale (postage is excluded) and is added up over the month, then billed as a separate line on your monthly Prometora invoice. Nothing is deducted from individual payments. This is in addition to Stripe's own payment processing fees (typically ~2.9% + $0.30).

Example: On a $100 sale with the Business plan, Prometora's fee is $1. Stripe's fee would be approximately $3.20. Your seller receives $95.80.

Prometora's own fees are the plan price and the transaction fee listed above. Depending on what you enable, third parties may charge you directly:

• Payments: Stripe charges its standard processing fee on each sale (typically 1.5-3% + a small fixed amount, varies by country)
• Custom domain: you buy the domain from any registrar, usually $10-20/year (Professional and up)
• Mobile app add-on: $999 one-time + $149/month, plus your own Apple Developer ($99/year) and Google Play ($25 one-time) accounts
• White Glove Setup: optional hands-on setup with the founder, $499 one-time (Professional and Business)
• Shipping labels: carrier rates are paid by the seller to the carrier (ShipStation, Shipmondo, etc.)

No setup fees, no per-seller fees, no charge for buyer or seller accounts, and no usage or API fees that grow with your traffic. You know your bill before you sign up.

No coding required. Prometora is designed for non-technical founders. You can build a fully functional, professional marketplace using our visual editor and AI tools.

If you want custom integrations or advanced features, the Business plan adds webhooks that sync orders, sellers and bookings to your own systems, and Scale adds integrations we build for you - but it's entirely optional. Most successful marketplaces on Prometora are built without writing a single line of code.

Yes, on every plan.

Pick your primary language under Settings → General (English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Romanian, Czech or Japanese) and your storefront, seller dashboard and transactional emails render in it.

Every plan also includes a language switcher so visitors can choose between several languages, and a translation editor to override any string or email template per language, with live preview.

Yes, you can change your plan at any time from your dashboard.

• Upgrading: Takes effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle.
• Downgrading: Takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You'll keep your current plan's features until then.

Your data, listings, and users are preserved when changing plans. Note that some features (like custom domains) are only available on higher tiers.

Yes. Every plan includes email support from the people who build the product, plus a full documentation site and a growing library of video walkthroughs.

Professional includes priority support. Business adds a direct line with the fastest replies, and White Glove Setup ($499) gets you hands-on help from the founder to set the marketplace up with you.

Most founders also take us up on the optional onboarding call. We'll walk through your idea, your seller side, and how to set up payouts so you can launch faster.

AI generations are credits used when you ask Prometora's AI to create or modify content for your marketplace. Each of these actions uses 1 generation:

• Generating a new page (homepage, about, contact, etc.)
• Redesigning a section or component with AI
• Rewriting or creating content using AI
• Building AI-powered marketplace sections

Your monthly generations refresh on your billing date. If you need more, you can purchase add-on packs (10 for $5, 35 for $12, or 75 for $18) that never expire and are used before your monthly allowance.

No worries, your marketplace keeps running normally. You just won't be able to use AI-powered creation tools until your next billing cycle or until you purchase an add-on pack.

You can always make manual edits to your marketplace without using any generations. AI generations are only consumed when you specifically use AI to generate or redesign content.

Any plan can sell physical products. What changes is how buyers pay for postage.

On Professional, buyers purchase one listing per checkout and sellers include postage in the listing price (for example a "Posted" and a "Pickup" price option).

The Business plan adds the shopping cart, so buyers can combine items from several sellers in one order, with postage calculated at checkout per seller and 100% of it going to the seller. Business also adds CSV bulk import for loading a catalogue.

Marketplaces for services, bookings and rentals need neither, so Professional covers those completely.

Yes. On the Business plan you configure shipping for physical goods: a flat rate or per-listing prices that buyers pay at checkout. 100% of shipping goes to the seller (no platform fee on shipping).

Sellers can print carrier labels in one click via ShipStation (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and much of Europe), Shipmondo (all of the Nordics) or Canada Post. The tracking number is filled in automatically and the buyer is notified. Anywhere else, sellers ship with their own carrier and add the tracking number manually.

Yes. On Professional plans and up, the Mobile App add-on turns your marketplace into native iOS and Android apps, published in the App Store and Google Play under your own brand - with push notifications for orders, messages, and offers. We handle the design, submission, and ongoing updates.

Yes, hosting is fully included in all plans. You don't need to set up servers, manage databases, or worry about infrastructure. We handle:

• Homepage and key pages built from your content and brand
• Stripe Connect connected and tested
• Your domain connected and emails sending from it
• Your first sellers or listings added from what you send
• A final check before you go live, and a direct line for the first weeks

No fixed schedule and no weekly meetings. You send content, the setup happens in between, and most marketplaces are launch-ready within a week or two of the call. Need the whole thing built, content and listings included? Book a call and we quote it as a project.

You own your data. On every plan you export it yourself at any time from Store Settings > Export Data: sellers, buyers, listings, orders, messages and commissions, as CSV, JSON or a single ZIP.

That works after you cancel too: your marketplace goes offline and your data is kept for 30 days in case you change your mind, so ask within that window. After that it is permanently deleted from our servers.

We would rather you stay because the product works than because your data is stuck with us. No lock-in, no hostage taking.

Yes. If your marketplace is processing serious volume, the transaction fee is negotiable.
