Transaction fees are a small percentage we charge on sales processed through your marketplace:

• Starter: 2% per transaction
• Professional: 1.5% per transaction
• Business: 1% per transaction
• Enterprise: Custom (negotiable)

The fee is calculated on the transaction amount and is automatically deducted when payments are processed through Stripe. This is in addition to Stripe's own payment processing fees (typically ~2.9% + $0.30).

Example: On a $100 sale with the Business plan, Prometora's fee is $1. Stripe's fee would be approximately $3.20. Your seller receives $95.80.

Prometora's own fees are the plan price and the transaction fee listed above. Depending on what you enable, third parties may charge you directly:

• Payments: Stripe charges its standard processing fee on each sale (typically 1.5-3% + a small fixed amount, varies by country)
• Custom domain: you buy the domain from any registrar, usually $10-20/year (Professional and up)
• Mobile app add-on: $999 one-time + $149/month, plus your own Apple Developer ($99/year) and Google Play ($25 one-time) accounts
• White Glove Setup: optional done-for-you launch, $3,999 one-time
• Shipping labels: carrier rates are paid by the seller to the carrier (ShipStation, Shipmondo, etc.)

No setup fees, no per-seller fees, no charge for buyer or seller accounts.

If you want custom integrations or advanced features, our Business plan includes API access—but it's entirely optional. Most successful marketplaces on Prometora are built without writing a single line of code.

Yes, you can change your plan at any time from your dashboard.

• Upgrading: Takes effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle.
• Downgrading: Takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You'll keep your current plan's features until then.

Your data, listings, and users are preserved when changing plans. Note that some features (like custom domains) are only available on higher tiers.

Yes. Every plan includes email support from the people who build the product, plus a full documentation site and a growing library of video walkthroughs.

Professional adds priority support. Business gives you a dedicated account manager.

AI generations are credits used when you ask Prometora's AI to create or modify content for your marketplace. Each of these actions uses 1 generation:

• Generating a new page (homepage, about, contact, etc.)
• Redesigning a section or component with AI
• Rewriting or creating content using AI
• Building AI-powered marketplace sections

Your monthly generations refresh on your billing date. If you need more, you can purchase add-on packs (10 for $5, 35 for $12, or 75 for $18) that never expire and are used before your monthly allowance.

No worries—your marketplace keeps running normally. You just won't be able to use AI-powered creation tools until your next billing cycle or until you purchase an add-on pack.

You can always make manual edits to your marketplace without using any generations. AI generations are only consumed when you specifically use AI to generate or redesign content.

Yes. On the Business plan you configure shipping for physical goods: a flat rate or per-listing prices that buyers pay at checkout. 100% of shipping goes to the seller (no platform fee on shipping).

Sellers can print carrier labels in one click via ShipStation (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and much of Europe), Shipmondo (all of the Nordics) or Canada Post. The tracking number is filled in automatically and the buyer is notified. Anywhere else, sellers ship with their own carrier and add the tracking number manually.
